Terms and Conditions
We charge a flat rate of £3.95 for standard UK delivery and if you select this option your items will be sent by Royal Mail's 1st Class "Signed For" Service which unfortunately does not offer any insurance for jewellery items.
Express delivery services are available as follows:
Special Delivery which guarantees next day delivery by 1pm (from date of dispatch) and is insured for up to £500 will cost £6.95 for packages upto 500g and is available for Monday to Friday deliveries.
Should you require items to be sent Special Delivery with a guaranteed delivery on a Saturday then the cost will be £11.95 for packages upto 500g.
We strongly recommend you select Special Delivery as we can not be held responsible for replacing any items lost in the post that are not covered by insurance. If you choose not to have your order sent Special Delivery you will be responsible for the recovery of any loss by the Post Office. We will assist by providing details of tracking numbers and dates and times of postage but will not be responsible for recovering the loss for you. Orders will be sent out within 48 hours of receipt where ever possible but this is not guaranteed. This does not apply to bespoke items where delivery timescales will be approximately 2-3 weeks. If you require something urgently please phone to check the item is in stock to avoid disappointment.
We are happy to post to countries in the European Union using "International Signed For" method of shipping. Our flat rate charged for this service is £11.95 which includes insurance.
All items of jewellery are backed by our 14 day money back guarantee with the exception of earrings which cannot be exchanged for hygiene reasons. Therefore if you change your mind about your purchase and return it to us in an unused and saleable condition, in the original packaging, within 14 days of the invoice date we will refund your purchase price less the cost of any postage paid by Silver Chic on the original shipping costs.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS OF PERSONALISED ITEMS
As each item of bespoke personalised jewellery is made to order the delivery time will be approximately 2-3 weeks.
Bespoke personalised items are excluded from our 14 day money back guarantee.
Personalised items that are specially made with your choice of, initial, name or message or other customised aspect that makes the item unique to your requirements and therefore cannot be resold. We do not offer refunds for such items.
PLP Contemporary Jewellery is run by Paula Louise Paton and is a VAT registered business. All prices include VAT at the current rate where applicable.
Online credit card payments are processed by WorldPay.
Errors & Omissions
Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission on the website or in any document issued by Paula Louise Paton shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of Paula Louise Paton.
